Cabungcal wins match to lead Men's Golf in semifinals of Columbus Cup Match Play tournament

SUNBURY — The Ohio Northern men's golf team dropped an 8.5-1.5 decision to Otterbein in the first round of the Columbus Cup Match Play tournament on Saturday at NorthStar Golf Club.

The Polar Bears (7-8 overall) will battle Marietta for third place on Sunday at 10 am at Royal American Links.

Freshman Alex Cabungcal (Lewis Center/Olentangy Orange) won his match and sophomore Jared Hernandez (Van Wert) halved his match to account for ONU's points.
