This Weekend's Tournament: The Ohio Northern men's golf team will travel to the Columbus Cup Match Play tournament Saturday and Sunday ... Ohio Northern will face Otterbein in the semifinals on Saturday at 2 pm at the NorthStar Golf Club in Sunbury ... Capital and Marietta will play in the other semifinal match on Saturday ... On Sunday at 10 am at Royal American Links, the winners will play for the Columbus Cup title while the losers will battle for third place ... The Polar Bears are coming off a sixth place finish at the Ohio Cup tournament Saturday at Red Hawk Run GC in Findlay ... Freshman Josh Steyer fired a 4-over par 148 to lead Ohio Northern ... The Polar Bears finished with a 608 for the 36-hole tournament ... ONU was first among the three NCAA Division III schools, defeating Heidelberg (627) and Bluffton (673) ... Steyer finished tied for 14th out of 87 golfers in his first collegiate tournament ... Sophomore Nolan Kimberly tied for 31st with a 152, freshman Alex Cabungcal tied for 37th with a 153, sophomore Jared Hernandez tied for 43rd with a 155 and junior Ethan Smith tied for 74th with a 169.
