Volleyball rallies for exciting 5-set victory at Mount Union

ALLIANCE — The Ohio Northern volleyball team rallied for an exciting 25-14, 20-25, 25-27, 25-17, 16-14 victory at Mount Union on Saturday afternoon.
The Basics
- Records: Ohio Northern (18-6 Overall, 4-3 OAC), Mount Union (17-8 Overall, 5-2 OAC).

- Senior Erin Wagner (Massillon/Perry) had 17 kills and three blocks for ONU.
- Freshman Summer Hoying (Fort Loramie) had 12 kills and four blocks.
- Senior Lauren James (Farmington Hills, Mich./North Farmington) had 11 kills and eight blocks.
- Senior Grace Conrad (Somerset/Sheridan) had a season-high 46 assists.
- Senior Rachel Jennings (Novi, Mich.) had a season-high 40 digs.
- Mount Union was led by Heaven Bartell with 12 kills.
- The Polar Bears hit .156 for the match with 65 kills, while the Purple Raiders hit .095 with 52 kills in the match.
- Northern had an impressive 17 total blocks in the match, while Mount Union had 19 blocks.

- Ohio Northern leads the all-time series against UMU by a 56-8 margin. ONU is 19-4 at Mount Union in the series.
