Volleyball tops Mount Saint Joseph, falls at No. 24 Transylvania (Ky.) on busy Saturday

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Ohio Northern volleyball team fell at No. 24-ranked Transylvania (Ky.) 25-22, 25-18, 25-18 and defeated Mount Saint Joseph 24-26, 25-21, 25-15, 26-24 on Saturday afternoon.

• Senior Erin Wagner (Massillon/Perry) had a team-high 12 kills with three blocks.
• Freshman Summer Hoying (Fort Loramie) chipped in seven kills.
• Senior Grace Conrad (Somerset/Sheridan) had 21 assists.
• Senior Rachel Jennings (Novi, Mich.) had a team-leading 15 digs and senior Grace Irmer (Indianapolis, Ind./Roncalli) had 13 digs.
• Transylvania was led by Isabelle Myers with a match-high 14 kills.
• The Polar Bears hit .160 with 36 kills, while the Pioneers hit .275 with 53 kills in the match.

• Senior Erin Wagner (Massillon/Perry) had a match-high 22 kills with six blocks and hit .400 for the match.
• Freshman Summer Hoying (Fort Loramie) chipped in a career-high 15 kills with 11 digs and hit a team-high .480.
• Junior Lauren James (Farmington Hills, Mich./North Farmington) added nine kills and tied her career-high with 10 blocks.
• Senior Grace Conrad (Somerset/Sheridan) had 31 assists.
• Senior Rachel Jennings (Novi, Mich.) had a season-high 24 digs.
• Senior Ava Ehlinger (New Carlisle/Tecumseh) had eight kills.
• MSJ was led by Emma Sicking with 16 kills.
