Volleyball picked to finish fourth in OAC Preseason Coaches poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern volleyball team was picked to finish fourth in the league in the 2024 Ohio Athletic Conference Coaches Poll.
Northern garnered 58 points in the poll.
Marietta and Otterbein were selected as conference co-favorites for 2024. Each team had 75 points with Marietta getting five first place votes and Otterbein getting four first place votes.
Mount Union was picked third, receiving 67 points and the remaining first-place vote.
John Carroll rounded out the top five with 45 points.
Coaches do not vote on their own teams in the balloting.
ONU finished the 2023 season with a 17-10 record and finished fourth in the conference with a 5-4 mark.
The Polar Bears open their 2024 season on Aug. 30 against Case Western Reserve and Greenville (Ill.) at the Cedar Point Invitational under second-year head coach Sophie Windover.
