Armbruster breaks school record in steeplechase, leads Women's Outdoor Track and Field at Baldwin Wallace Harrison Dilliard Twilight Invitational

BEREA — Junior Natalie Armbruster (Cincinnati/Mount Notre Dame) broke the school record in the 3000 Steeplechase to lead the Ohio Northern women's track and field team at the Baldwin Wallace Harrison Dilliard Twilight Invitational on Friday.

• Armbruster won the 3000 steeplechase in 11:06.44, breaking the previous record of 11:13.60 set in 2007 by Darci Walthew.
• Senior Olyvia Ashbrook (Johnstown/Northridge) won the 400 hurdles in 1:03.06.
• Senior All-American Claire Schweller (Paulding) won the pole vault by clearing 3.66 meters.
• Senior Izzy Burman (Benton Ridge/Liberty Benton) was second in the shot put at 14.05 meters and was fourth in the hammer at 50.99 meters.
• Senior Hannah Friend (Luckey/Eastwood) was third in the shot at 13.36 meters

• The top 22 in each event at the end of the season qualify for the NCAA III Championships May 22-24 in Geneva, Ohio.
• Head Coach Jason Maus is in his 16th year at Ohio Northern and is 534-178-3 in women's outdoor track and field for a winning percentage of .745.
