MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Ohio Northern sophomore Claire Schweller (Paulding) earned All-America honors in the pole vault with a fifth place finish at the 2024 NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships on a warm and sunny Thursday afternoon.

- Schweller was fifth of 22 in the pole vault by clearing 3.86 meters (12' 8").
- She cleared her first three bars (3.56m, 3.71m and 3.76m) on her first attempt.
- After two misses at 3.81, Schweller cleared the bar on her third and final attempt to clinch All-America honors for the first time in her career.

- Schweller was the No. 5 seed in the pole vault, qualifying with a career-best 3.93 meters during the season. That mark ranks second all-time at ONU.
- She is the third ONU woman to earn All-America honors in the pole vault.
