Women's Tennis to face Allegheny (Pa.) in first round of NCAA III Tournament at Carnegie Mellon

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team will face Allegheny (Pa.) in the first round of the NCAA III Tournament at Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) in Pittsburgh.
Northern (18-4 overall) will face the Gators (11-11) on Thursday.
The ONU-AC winner will advance to the second round to face either No. 10-ranked Carnegie Mellon (21-4) or Penn State-Behrend (10-5) on Friday.
The third round will be held at Carnegie Mellon on Saturday.
Times of the matches will be announced later.
The Polar Bears are making their eighth NCAA Tournament appearance in program history overall.
Ohio Northern earned the Ohio Athletic Conference's automatic bid by winning the OAC Tournament title with a 4-0 victory over John Carroll on Saturday.
ONU also won the OAC regular season title with a 5-0 mark.
The Polar Bears have now won eight OAC Tournament titles and nine OAC regular season championships in program history.
Allegheny reached the NCAA III Tournament by earning the Presidents Athletic Conference automatic qualifier by winning the PAC Tournament title 4-0 over Grove City (Pa.)
