Brown, Fernandez, Richters and Savini named Academic All-District in Women's Swimming and Diving by College Sports Communicators

ADA — Seniors Mara Brown (Fremont/Ross), Morgan Fernandez (Huber Heights/Wayne), Annie Richters (Tory/Miami East) and junior Marisa Savini (Troy/Miami East) were named Academic All-District in women's swimming and diving by College Sports Communicators.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's Swimming and Diving Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced later this spring.
Brown, Fernandez and Richters are now three-time Academic All-District honorees, while Savini is a two-time honoree.
Brown is a 12-time All-OAC honoree with 280 career OAC Championships points to her credit.
She was part of the OAC champion 400 medley relay team as a freshman in 2022 and has also been All-Conference in the 100 breast (twice), 100 fly (three times), 200 I.M., 200 fly, 200 medley relay (three times) and 400 medley relay (twice) in her career.
Fernandez has 91 career OAC Championships points and earned All-Conference honors as part of ONU's medley relay team last year.
Richters has scored 116.5 OAC Championships points in her career and earned All-Conference honors as part of ONU's medley relay team last year.
Savini has 16 career OAC Championship points and is also a two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree.
The Polar Bears finished 4-4 overall in dual meets this season and placed fourth at the 2025 OAC Championships.
