Sophomore Morgan Moeller named OAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for second time this season

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Morgan Moeller (Harrison/Roger Bacon) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 16-22.

This marks Moeller's second OAC Defensive Player of the Week accolade this season and third of her career.

The recognition comes after recording one save in her 11th career shutout in a 5-0 win against Albion (Mich.) on Thursday night.

She is now ranked tied for 10th all-time at ONU in shutouts.

In 27 career starts, Moeller has 76 saves and a .086 GAA.

The Polar Bears (4-3-0 overall) return to action on Tuesday at Denison at 7:00 p.m.
