Sophomore Morgan Moeller named OAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Morgan Moeller (Harrison/Roger Bacon) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 2-8.

This marks Moeller's second career OAC Defensive Player of the Week accolade.

The recognition comes after posting three saves in her ninth career shutout in a 1-0 win against No. 12-ranked Virginia Wesleyan (Pa.) on Friday afternoon.

In 23 career starts, Moeller has 70 saves and a save percentage of .745. 

The Polar Bears (2-1-0 overall) return to action on Wednesday against Trine (Ind.) at 4:30 p.m. at Kerscher Stadium.
