Women's Soccer to open 2024 season Sept. 1 at home against Rose-Hulman (Ind.)

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team will open its 2024 season on Sept. 1 with a home match against Rose-Hulman (Ind.) at Kerscher Stadium.

Northern will will then head to the Atlantic Coast for matches at Virginia Wesleyan and Christopher Newport (Va.) on Sept. 6 and 8, respectively, before returning home to face Trine (Ind.) on Sept. 11.

The Polar Bears will then play at Transylvania (Ky.) on Sept. 14 and will host Albion (Mich.) on Sept. 19 and Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) on Sept. 21.

Northern closes out its non-conference slate with a road match with Denison on Sept. 24 and a home contest with Calvin (Mich.) on Sept. 28.

The Polar Bears open Ohio Athletic Conference play at home against Marietta on Oct. 5.

Northern will also host conference foes Heidelberg, Capital and Wilmington.

OAC road games include those at Baldwin Wallace, Muskingum, Otterbein, Mount Union and John Carroll.

The six-team OAC Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 5-9.

ONU was 10-9-1 overall and was third in the OAC regular season standings with a 7-2-0 mark under first-year head coach Ben Tierney.
