Tournament Preview: The Ohio Northern women's golf team will host the Polar Bear Easter Classic Friday and Saturday at Colonial Golfers Club ... Adrian (Mich.), Bluffton, Heidelberg and Tiffin are expected to join ONU in the 36-hole tournament that will begin with a shotgun start on Friday at Noon and wrapping up with a shotgun start on Saturday at 9 am ... The Polar Bears are coming off a victory at the 7-team Bluffton Classic last weekend at Hidden Creek Golf Course in Lima ... ONU shattered the school record by eight full strokes, carding a 306 to surpass the previous mark of 314 ... Junior Grace Honigford won Medalist honors, shooting a 1-over-par 73 for her third individual victory this season ... Three other Polar Bears finished inside the top four ... Sophomore Amelia Burger was third with a 77 and freshman Marisa Alfes and senior Isabella Orofino (tied for fourth with a 78 ... Senior Torrie Smith rounded out Northern's scoring with an 85 to finish 17th overall ... Through 14 rounds this fall, Honigford leads the team in scoring with a 78.0 average ... Sophomore Rhianna Firmstone is second with an 81.8, Burger is third with an 82.1 and Alfes is fourth at 82.2.
