Women's Basketball picked to finish second in 2025-26 OAC Coaches Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team has been picked to finish second in the Ohio Athletic Conference in the 2025-26 OAC preseason poll voted on by the league's nine head coaches.
ONU received 47 points in the poll. Baldwin Wallace was tabbed as league favorites with 64 points and eight first place votes. Mount Union was picked third with 44 points and the final first place vote and Otterbein was fourth with 43 points.
The Polar Bears finished 19-8 overall and 14-4 in the OAC in 2024-25. They finished second in the OAC Regular Season standings and were runner-ups in the OAC Tournament last season.
ONU opens its 2025-26 season on Nov. 14-15 at the Washington & Jefferson Tip-Off under sixth-year head coach Mark Huelsman.
