Women's Basketball to face Marymount (Va.) in Scranton in First Round of NCAA III Tournament on Friday

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team will travel to Scranton, Pa., and face Marymount (Va.) the First Round of the 2024 NCAA III Tournament on Friday at the John Long Center.
Start times will be announced on Tuesday.
No. 7-ranked Scranton (Pa.) (25-2) and Framingham State (Mass.) (24-2) will play in the other first round game.
The two winners will play in the second round on Saturday.
The Polar Bears are making their 11th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history.
Ohio Northern earned the Ohio Athletic Conference's automatic bid by winning the OAC Tournament title with a 63-555 victory at Marietta on Feb. 24.
The Polar Bears tied for third in the OAC Regular Season standings with a 13-5 record.
ONU has now won six OAC Tournament titles.
Marymount earned an automatic bid by winning the Atlantic East Conference Tournament over Neumann (Pa.) 66-48. MU has now won 17 conference championships and will make its 23rd NCAA Tournament appearance.
Scranton won its ninth consecutive Landmark Conference Tournament with a 57-48 victory over Catholic (D.C.)
Framingham State won its third Massachussets State Collegiate Athletic Conference in the last four seasons with a 74-62 victory over Bridgewater State (Mass.)
