Men's Cross Country finishes 6th of 18 teams at All-Ohio Championships

CEDARVILLE — The Ohio Northern men's cross country team raced at the All-Ohio Championships on Saturday afternoon at the King Cross Country Course.
The Polar Bears (25-5) finished sixth of 18 among the Division III schools, scoring 202 points.
Overall, ONU was 16th of 38 teams with 504 points.
Junior Jordan Green (Wooster) led the Polar Bears with a 33rd place finish of 145 Division III runners in 27:32 on the 8,000-meter course.
Junior Travis Sutter (Fort Recovery) was 41st in 27:46, freshman Billy Driemeyer (House Springs, Mo.) was 44th in 27:52, junior Alessandro Tramontano (Cleveland/Mayfield) was 47th in 28:01 and sophomore Patrick Baker (Massillon/Jackson) was 51st in 28:06.
Northern's displacers were 56th and 70th overall.
Otterbein's Chase Hampton finished first among Division III runners in 25:13.
No. 17-ranked Otterbein won the team title with 32 points. No. 30 Case Western Reserve was second with 49 points, Franciscan was third with 146 points and Denison was fourth with 152 points.
ONU finished ahead of Division II schools Tiffin, Mount Vernon Nazarene, Ohio Dominican, Findlay, Rio Grande, and Urbana.
Ohio Northern's next race is set for Oct. 5 at the Louisville (Ky.) Classic.
