Cross Country teams to open 2019 schedule on Aug. 31 at the Bluffton 5k

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's and women's cross country teams will begin their 2019 seasons on August 31 at the Bluffton 5k Invitational under 11th-year head coach Jason Maus.
It will mark the eighth consecutive year that the Polar Bears have opened their season at Bluffton.
The Polar Bears will also compete at the Ohio Wesleyan (Sept. 14), Louisville (Oct. 5) and Oberlin (Oct. 19) Invitationals and the All-Ohio Championships at Cedarville (Sept. 28) in the regular season.
The Ohio Athletic Conference Championships are slated for Nov. 2 at John Carroll.
ONU will then compete at the NCAA III Regional Championships at Grand Rapids, Mich., on Nov. 16.
The NCAA III Championships will be Nov. 23 at Louisville, Ky.
The Polar Bear men were 97-29 overall and finished third in the OAC in 2018, while the ONU women were 94-30 and finished fifth in the OAC last season.
