Men's Cross Country remains undefeated on season, wins 7-team Taylor (Ind.) Invitational

UPLAND, Ind. — The Ohio Northern men's cross country team remained undefeated on the young 2014 season by winning the 7-team Taylor (Ind.) Invitational Friday night at the TU Cross Country Course.
The Polar Bears (10-0 overall) won for the second time in as many races this fall.
ONU finished with 23 points, No. 23-ranked (NAIA) Taylor was second with 63 points and No. 22 (NAIA) Indiana Tech was third with 85 points.
Northern had five runners finish in the top seven individually, led by senior Nathan Rosenbaum.
Rosenbaum won the 118-man race, covering the 8,000-meter course in 26:38.
Sophomore Cully Gordon was fourth in 27:15, sophomore Aaren Hemmelgarn was fifth in 27:16, junior William Huddleston was sixth in 27:26 and sophomore Kase Schalois was seventh in 27:29.
The Polar Bears will return to action Sept. 13 at the Calvin (Mich.) Invitational.
