Bio

Casey Gantt is in his second season as the assistant coach for men’s and women’s cross country and track & field.

Gantt started in early 2011 as the recruiting assistant before taking over the assistant role. He brings coaching experience as a volunteer coach at Carthage College and from Grayslake Central High School (Ill.).

Additionally, Gantt has a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State, where he was a four-year varsity and multiple time All-Conference athlete. He was also named an scholar athlete and was inducted into the Lake County (Ill.) Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010.

Gantt earned his master’s degree in sport management from the United States Sports Academy. Gantt has also earned his USATF Level 1 certification.

Gantt and his wife Erin reside in Ada with their son Michael.
