Men's Outdoor Track and Field wins 4th Annual Mike Becraft Invitational

ADA — The Ohio Northern outdoor track and field team won six of the 20 events and posted a victory at the 4th Annual Mike Becraft Invitational on a sunny and crisp Saturday.

Meet Results
- The Polar Bears won the 9-team meet with 269.5 points.
- Adrian (Mich.) finished in 2nd with 83 points and NCAA Division II Findlay followed in third with 73 points.
Top ONU Performers
- Senior Tommy Vetrovsky (Sagamore Hills/Nordonia) won the hammer throw with a toss of 52.06 meters.
- Senior Keegan Digby (Bowling Green/Otsego) won the shot put with a throw of 16.70m and finished 3rd in the hammer with a toss of 51.52m.
- Senior Trey Myers (Dayton/Chaminade-Julienne) and junior Bo Little (Washington Court House/Miami Trace) had a 1-2 finish in the 800 m dash in 1:54.62 and 1:58.80, respectively.
- Junior Jordan Dean (Cleveland/Villa Angela Saint Joseph) won the 200-meter dash in :21.77.
- Junior Trey Masterson (Tiffin/Hopewell-Loudon) and senior Braden Schaser (Fostoria/Lakota) finished 1-2 in the 1500 in 3:59.50 and 4:06.46, respectively.
- Sophomore Zach O'Neill (Holland/Maumee Valley Country Day), senior David Gross (Prospect/Pleasant Local) and juniors Mitchel Vance (Bellefontaine/Benjamin Logan) and Torrance Nichols (Fairfield) won the 4x400 relay in 3:32.19.
- Junior Tyrese Barker (Columbus/Bishop Hartley) and freshman Charles Miller (New Lebanon/Dixie) went 2-3 in the 110 hurdles in :14.77 and :15.66, respectively.
- Freshmen C.J. Boothby (Milford/Clermont Northeastern), Dean and senior Hunter Kesler (Oakwood/Paulding) went 2-3-4 in the 100. Boothby finished in :10.82, Dean in :10.86 and Kesler in :10.89.
- Boothby also finished 2nd in the long jump with a jump of 6.63m.
- Kesler also finished 3rd in the 200 :21.95.
- Sophomore Bryce Stuart (Lucasville/Valley) finished 2nd and Barker finished 3rd in the high jump with heights of 1.89m and 1.86m.
- Senior Brandon Wise (Goshen,Ind/Concord) finished 2nd in the pole vault with a jump of 4.10m.

- It was Senior Day at Ohio Northern.
- ONU won six of the 20 events at today's meet and placed second in eight events.
- Boothby and Kesler each ran season bests in the 100.
- Head Coach Jason Maus is in his 15th year at Ohio Northern and is 558-148 in men's outdoor track and field for a winning percentage of .790.
