Specht leads list of four named All-OAC in Men's Tennis, Swisher named OAC Coach of the Year,

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Peyton Specht (Munster, Ind.) was named First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference to headline a list of four Polar Bears named All-OAC in men's tennis for the 2025 season in voting conducted by the league's head coaches.
Junior T.J. Schultz (Grand Blanc, Mich.), sophomore Tyler Wood (Toledo/St. Johns) and freshman Noah Boyce (Oakwood) were all Second Team selections.
Third-year head coach Sean Swisher was also named the OAC Men's Tennis Coach of the Year for the second year in a row.
Specht is now a four-time All-OAC selection and seven-time OAC Player of the Week.
This season, he posted a 19-33 overall record this season, including a 6-19 singles mark and 13-14 doubles record.
In his career, Specht has a 55-47 singles record and 65-40 doubles mark for an overall record of 120-87.
Schultz was second on the team with a 14-13 doubles record this season. He was also 11-15 in singles.
He has an overall career record of 62-68, including a 30-27 singles record and 32-41 doubles mark.
Wood led the team this season with a 21-7 singles record to go with a doubles record of 13-16.
In his career, he is 40-14 in singles and 36-22 in doubles for an overall record of 76-36.
Boyce had a team-high 35 victories with a 20-10 singles mark and team-best 15-13 doubles record.
He was also named OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week once this season.
The Polar Bears ended the season with a 12-9 record and won the OAC Regular Season title with a 4-0 record. ONU also won its fourth consecutive OAC Tournament title and made its eighth NCAA Division III Tournament appearance.
