Men's Tennis begins busy week with 6-1 victory at Baldwin Wallace

BEREA — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team started a busy final week of the regular season on Tuesday with a 6-1 victory at Baldwin Wallace.
The Basics

Individual Highlights
- ONU won two of the three the doubles courts to take the doubles point, then won five of the six singles courts to record the victory.
- Junior T.J. Schultz (Grand Blanc, Mich.) won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 singles
- Sophomore Tyler Wood (Toledo/St. John's) won 6-4, 4-6, 11-9 at No. 3 singles.
- Freshman Noah Boyce (Oakwood) won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4 singles.
- Sophomore Kessler Hackenberger (Tipp City/Tippecanoe) won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 5 singles.
- Sophomore Kosuke Asada (Findlay) won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.
- Wood and senior Peyton Specht (Munster, Ind.) won 6-3 at No. 1 doubles.
- Schultz and Boyce won 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.

- The Polar Bears lead the series between the two schools by a 40-12 margin.
- The NCAA had adopted a 7-point team scoring system for Division III, where the three doubles contests only count for one team point as is used in NCAA Divisions I and II.
