TIFFIN — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team opened the Ohio Athletic Conference portion of its schedule with a 9-0 victory at Heidelberg Saturday afternoon at the heidelberg Tennis Courts.
The Polar Bears improve to 2-5 overall and 1-0 in the OAC, while the Student Princes fall to 0-6, 0-1.
Sophomores Alex Starr and Alex Genbauffe each posted 6-0, 6-0 singles wins to lead ONU.
The Polar Bears will return to action Sunday when they host Wittenberg in a non-conference match at the Westwood Tennis & Fitness Center in Lima.
