ADA — Junior John Mostowy won twice to lead the Ohio Northern men's tennis team in a 7-2 loss to Mount Union Sunday afternoon at University Courts.
The Polar Bears fall to 3-6 overall and are 1-1 in Ohio Athletic Conference play, while the Purple Raiders improve to 9-3, 1-1.
Mostowy accounted for both of Ohio Northern's points.
First, he combined with senior Sam Prewitt to win 8-3 at No. 1 doubles. He then won 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1 singles.
Mostowy is now a team-best 5-4 in singles play. Mostowy and Prewett lead the team with 8-1 doubles records.
The Polar Bears will return to action April 7 at home against Otterbein.
