Friday's Meet: #30-ranked Ohio Northern will travel to Oberlin for a 6 pm non-conference meet against the Yeomen ... The Polar Bears will compete five times in the next 16 days in preparation for the 2016 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships, which are slated for Feb. 18-20 at the University of Akron's Ocasek Natatorium ... Friday's meet will feature 13 events for the men and women with 11 swimming events and the 1- and 3-meter diving events ... The Polar Bears are coming off a 293-123 victory over Penn State-Behrend during their annual Winter Break training trip to Mesa, Ariz. Official times and winners were not kept ... The meet used the Eddie Reese Invite List format which features 19 swimming events using all five strokes of lengths from 50 to 600 yards ... The Polar Bears will turn right around and host Mount union on Saturday at 1 pm at the ONU Sports Center Natatorium in a key OAC battle.

ONU head coach Peggy Ewald: Ewald is in her 12th season at ONU and is the program's all-time winningest coach with a 92-35 men's dual meet record, a winning percentage of .724. She has been named OAC Men's Coach of the Year six times and had guided the Polar Bear men to 11 consecutive OAC Championships crowns and 10 straight OAC Regular Season titles.
