Will Swartz is in his first season as an assistant men's basketball coach at Ohio Northern in the 2025-26 season.

Swartz, who played two seasons at both Wittenberg and Heidelberg, served as a graduate assistant coach at NCAA Division I Duquesne in 2024 and 2025 prior to joining the ONU staff.

His responsibilities at Duquesne ranged from player development to film breakdown as the Dukes won an A10 Tournament Championship and a grabbed win in the NCAA Tournament.

Before Duquesne he was an Assistant Coach at Bluffton for the 2022-23 season.

A native of Rittman, Ohio, Swartz lettered and was part of an NCAA Tournament team in each of his four seasons as a player.

He graduated from Heidelberg in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and earned his master's degree in business administration from Duquesne in 2025.

Prior to college, Swartz attended Rittman High School where he was a four-year letterman, three-year starter and two-year caption. He led the Indians, which tied the school record for wins, to a district and league championship, all while earning All-Ohio honors as a senior.
