Football to put 5-0 international record on line with 9-day trip, exhibition game in Rome

ADA — The Ohio Northern football team will put its 5-0 record in international competition on the line when the Polar Bears embark on their sixth trip to Europe from Wednesday, May 24-June 1.
ONU will travel to Rome for four nights, then on to Naples and the Amalfi coast for two nights, then back to Rome for the final evening before returning to the United States.
The Polar Bears will play an exhibition game on Sunday at 4 pm (10 am EDT) against an all-star game from the top Italian league, Federazione Italiana Di American Football.
A large group of 107 student/athletes, coaches, staff, families and friends will make the trip to Italy.
Ohio Northern has a 5-0 record in international competition under 19th-year head coach Dean Paul, winning games in Germany in 2007, Italy in 2010, Ireland in 2013, Italy in 2016 and Germany in 2019.
