Last Meeting: QB Brody Hahn hit senior Austin Eick on a 9-yard touchdown pass with 18 seconds left to cap a furious fourth quarter rally and lift Ohio Northern to a 34-33 Homecoming victory over Marietta in Ada. ONU marched 68 yards in 39 seconds for the game-winning score. Hahn finished the day 24-of-44 passing for 441 yards and four touchdowns. WR Chase Rose caught seven passes for 150 yards and Eick finished with six receptions for 123 yards and three TDs for ONU. DE Josh Bever had 11 tackles and a sack and DE Jarrett Sitton had 10 tackles to lead the ONU defense. Ohio Northern out-gained MC in total offense 507-463.
ONU Last Week: Homecoming Weekend had beautiful weather with two dominant defensive efforts as Muskingum posted a 23-7 victory over Ohio Northern in Ada. ONU's defense limited MU to 280 yards of total offense while ONU gained 321. QB Adan Figueroa connected on a 38-yard TD pass to WR Nate Dean to get ONU within 14-7 with 3:51 left in the half. LB Dalton Tjong had 14 tackles and a TFL and DB A.J. DeSousa had a career-high nine tackles and a PBU to lead the Ohio Northern defense.
ONU Leaders: The Ohio Northern running game is led by All-American RB Brock Martin (117 att, 375 yards) and QB Adan Figeroa (56 att, 206 yards, 1 TD). QB Trevor McConnell is 51-of-106 passing for 510 yards and 4 TDs and QB Adan Figueroa is 43-of-89 passing for 436 yards and 3 TDs. WR Austin Eick (30 rec, 337 yards, 1 TD), RB Brock Martin (21 rec, 123 yards, 1 TD) and WR L.J. Payton (11 rec, 148 yards) lead the receivers. DB Dalton Tjong, DL Josh Bever and DB Jevon Taylor lead the defense with 84, 48 and 44 tackles, respectively. Bever also leads the team with 6.5 sacks.
MC Last Week: Heidelberg scored 29 unanswered points to defeat Marietta 29-21 in Tiffin. MC jumped to a 21-0 first quarter lead on drives of 39, 35 and 14 yards. HU pulled within 21-20 by halftime, then kicked three more field goals in the second half to complete the comeback victory. QB Connor Vierstra completed 14-of-28 passes for 117 yards and a TD and RB Bryce Agnew rushed for 97 yards on 31 carries.
MC Leaders: The Marietta running game is led by RB Bryce Agnew (181 att, 877 yards, 7 TDs) and RB Zion Jackson-Wilborn (22 att, 71 yards). QB Connor Vierstra is 93-of-168 passing for 1191 yards and 10 TDs. WR Dawson Snyder (25 rec, 426 yards, 3 TDs) and WR Dre Baldwin (20 rec, 318 yards, 3 TDs) lead the receivers. DL Drake Neuberger, LB Brady McManaway and LB Kyler Folkert lead the defense with 58, 46 and 38 tackles, respectively. DL Drake Neuberger leads the OAC with 9.0 sacks.
