QB Brody Hahn completed 23-of-39 passes for 327 yards and a score and ran 10 times for 51 yards and 2 TDs to lead ONU. WR Austin Eick caught a career-high 14 passes for a career-high 193 yards for ONU as well. QB Jordan Garrett completed 25-of-36 passes for 336 yards and a score and ran 16 times for 32 yards and two scores MU. Hahn hit WR Chase Rose on a 10-yard TD strike with 10:50 left in the game to give the Polar Bears a 31-30 lead. After a change of possessions, the Muskies took over at their own 45 with 3:45 left in the game and drove 49 yards in eight plays for the winning field goal.
ONU Last Week: #25 John Carroll turned three ONU turnovers into 21 points and held on for a 24-7 win in Ada. Both defenses were outstanding on the chilly, breezy afternoon with JCU gaining just 269 yards to 195 for ONU. The Polar Bear offense marched 75 yards in 16 plays, taking 7:49 off the clock, to pull within 17-7 when QB Adan Figueroa snuck in from a yard out with :18 left in the first half.
ONU Leaders: The Ohio Northern running game is led by All-American RB Brock Martin (102 att, 289 yards) and QB Adan Figeroa (43 att, 175 yards, 1 TD). QB Trevor McConnell is 51-of-106 passing for 510 yards and 4 TDs and QB Adan Figueroa is 29-of-57 passing for 239 yards and 2 TDs. WR Austin Eick (28 rec, 311 yards, 1 TD), RB Brock Martin (18 rec, 104 yards, 1 TD) and WR L.J. Payton (9 rec, 113 yards) lead the receivers. DB Dalton Tjong, DL Josh Bever and DB Jevon Taylor lead the defense with 70, 45 and 36 tackles, respectively. Bever also leads the team with 6.5 sacks.
MU Last Week: Muskingum QB Jordan Garrett and WR Zuri Edmondson connected on a school-record a 90-yard TD pass in a 35-21 loss at Baldwin Wallace on Saturday. Edmonson also caught an 80-yard TD pass from WR Travanti Keitt in the contest. Edmondson ended the day with 6 receptions for 203 yards and 2 scores. DB Nick Sheldon paced the defense with career-best 13 stops. BW out-gained MU 471-387 in total offense.
MU Leaders: The Muskingum running game is led by RB Noah Wellmeier (67 att, 234 yards, 2 TDs) and RB Donny Wilkinson (68 att, 213 yards, 2 TDs).
